Student Online Resources using eDigital Nepal

Online Engagement Resources

As the lockdown duration for COVID-19 extends, Swarnim School would like to provide some methods for engaging our dear students until normal classes can resume. We have already started online engaging classes for grades  9 and 10 of year 2077.

For students of primary and lower secondary level, we are exploring various possibilities and we will begin online engagement for our students initially by providing certain resources to explore and assignments to complete. For now we are distributing some online resources for grades 1 to 8 of the year 2077.

For this, every day, our teachers will be assigning various homeworks and providing eLearning video materials for the students to explore. The students and parents can view these resources and homework by using the eDigital Nepal system. The username and password required to access these resources have already been distributed to respected guardians and parents while distributing results.

How to access homeworks

Homeworks for the current context are certain engaging tasks that will be sent by our teachers to the respective class students every day. The homeworks will be of different subjects every day and will hopefully be engaging enough for the students but not too difficult to perform or follow.

A homework for each class will be provided to the students every work day ( Sun - Fri) by 11 am in the morning of the day. Steps to view the homeworks are mentioned in screenshots below.

Step 1 :Login to the digital nepal system.

You can login to the digital nepal portal by opening your browser (mobile browser or laptop/desktop browser). Some of the common browser applications are google chrome, firefox and opera. From the browser you need to open the url : https://edigitalnepal.com/sms/login which will open a page as such :

Here, you have to enter the username and password that we had provided while distributing the results for the students.

Note: Please make sure before you enter the portal you select, the [PARENTS/STUDENT] option before you login.

Then you may login to the system.

Step 2 : Accessing homework

Now, you can open the menu option inside the digital system.

Then, you can open the [Homework] section from the menu

Here, the students can view the assignments assigned to them by their teachers.

We urge the students and parents to go through the assignments provided to them carefully and then start writing the answers or start work for your task.

Step 3 : Submitting homework

The students are suggested to write the assignments or homeworks provided to them by the teachers in a separate copy , loose sheet or A4 size paper and have it filed separately to be submitted to the teachers after normal classes start. However, if there are tasks that you would like to submit to the teacher for evaluation you can simply take a photo of the homework  and send it as an email to the teacher. The email of the teacher will be mentioned at the bottom of the homework.

Then the student can simply press submit homework button and mention that they have sent homework to teacher in email.

The teacher will then check your homework and give you feedback as per your tasks.

E-Learning resources

Our teachers will also be provided various course related youtube videos for our students to explore. So, if the parents and students have access to good internet connection, you may even check these resources that the teachers share to you in the E-Learning tab of the system.

Here, the students can view the video, try to answer the various questions that the teacher has mentioned and start a discussion by asking questions to the teachers in the form of a comment at the video.

If you face any issues or have any questions on how to view these tasks or submitting, please contact us via facebook messenger or by emailing us at swarnimschool1981@gmail.com
